Being a mum of three, small business owner and a practicing NMC Registered Adult Nurse (and prior to that having worked in the various fields of the care sector) I have witnessed on uncountable occasions, the debilitating and sometimes devastating effects an unhealthy lifestyle can lead to. This experience steered me into the fitness industry with the hope of helping people to achieve consistency in a healthier lifestyle, benefiting from exercise and nutrition rather than relying solely on medication.
My professional experience coupled with my own personal experience of having spent over 31 years in and out of gyms, encountering the positive and negative elements of the fitness industry, and being all too aware of life’s distractions making consistency at times challenging, has made me passionate in wanting to support and motivate clients to ensure their experience in the gym is a good one!
My main passion for exercise involves weight lifting, cycling, both road and mountain biking and more recently running.
I studied my level 2 Gym & Fitness Instruction qualification at Progression Fitness in 2016 and have since gained my level 3 in Personal Training, Teaching and Assessor qualifications as well as being a qualified circuit training, indoor cycling, Boxercise and kettlebell instructor
