I have thoroughly enjoyed the courses over the last 6 months, It is a great insight into fitness instructing and a great confidence booster. The lectures are interesting and there is lots of support available. All in All, a great course and you get to meet lots of lovely like minded people too!

I have found the course extremely informative and interesting. I was nervous at first wondering if I would be able to keep up with others as they were mostly younger than me but I needn't of worried.The small classes were friendly and fun and has greatly improved my confidence. Train to become a Fitness Instructor


​Progression Fitness currently runs the Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym) and the Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training courses. 

These courses are  essential for anyone who is looking for a career as a trainer in the fitness industry.  Our aim is to train learners to a professional and competent level, enabling you to plan and deliver safe and effective exercises. 


There may be quicker ways out there to achieve this qualification using quick online based courses, but we believe the largely practical and class room elements of our course actually prepare you for the real world.  

The courses will be run on one weekend per month for 6  months:
Saturday 10am - 4pm
Sunday 10am - 1pm
(supported on-line learning platform)

Cost: Level 2  £700.00 (includes course manual & registration fee)
       Level 3  £1000 (includes course manual & registration fee)

Active IQ Approved Centre

Tutors:  Jon Moyse, BSc Sports & Exercise science, 29 years  practical  and management experience in the fitness industry. Certified Pilates Instructor. Qualified Teacher & Assessor

Winnie Sheppard, DipHe (RNA), Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym), Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, Circuits and kettlebell instructor.
Qualified Teacher & Assessor.
