I have been a member of Progression Fitness for several years now and hopefully will continue to be for many more. I am not a regular user of the gym itself but I do attend their excellent exercise classes. At present I do 4 classes a week - Progression Pump, 2 Cardio Bouncing classes and the Step and Tone class. Although sometimes challenging, the classes are always enjoyable and (upon completion of each class) leave me with a sense of well-being and achievement. It is such a friendly environment and whatever your level of fitness, no-one is ever made to feel awkward or inadequate which can happen in a larger more corporate-style set up.
Progression has been instrumental in maintaining for me, a good level of fitness and has increased my stamina no end which in turn gives me more energy for everyday tasks at home. ![]()

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Progression Fitness to anybody. I have been a member for about 2 years now and participate in many classes. I benefit from this not just from a fitness point of view but also the fun aspect of mixing with such a great bunch of people. Jon is an extremely proficient and caring instructor and would never push anyone beyond their capabilities. He is very aware of fitness levels right through from CV work to Pilates. I have been a member of Progression Fitness Studio since February 2009, and have enjoyed every minute.
The classes are great, motivating and varied with routines up-dated regularly to keep everyone's interest and progress.
Jon is always very conscious of ones fitness level making sure you are not pushing yourself too hard, and emphasizes good warm ups and cool downs so you don't suffer too much with sore muscles.
I started going once a week, now I go four times a week. Progression is exactly what this gym is about.
