1. Cardiovascular Training (1) - Improving your cardiovascular system will enable you to exercise harder and for longer periods of time. In this video, Jon discusses training zones and explains how to use a simple heart rate monitor to ensure you're exercising at the correct intensity to gradually improve your fitness.
2. Cardiovascular Training (2) - In this video, Jon demonstrates the affects of exercise on the body as he works through a series of training zones. He also explains the difference between aerobic and anaerobic excercise and how the body adapts when the intensity of your exercise is increased.
3. The Principals of Exercise - Understanding more about an exercise programme can only be of benefit if you are thinking about or are currently involved in exercise. Here, Jon talks about the FITT principles that provide the structure to your exercise.
4. Finding Your Core - In this video Jon explains what your core muscles are, how to contract them and the concept of core stability to help give you a flat tummy and support your lower back.
